Ash disposal?

They sit in a metal container until full and cool, then tromp through the snow and dump right on top of my grass/leave clippings.
 
When the snow is not too deep, I spread around the garden. Once the snow makes the walk too tough (possible, but a pain in the arse), I walk to the street and dump the ashes along the snowbanks on the side of the road (usually at night......). Cheers!
