    Lots of folks take pictures of stoves ripping away with the great secondary burn in full glory, but many people ask about how compeletly a stove burns wood.

    Well, here's a picture of my Osburn after about 2 days of burning...Last loaded the night before this picture was taken, so the stove is cold as a stone...

    The wood burned was a mix of soft maple and oak.

    Hey, I like the gold accent door! Looks very nice on your stove.

    As for the ash, that looks about right, after a good burn night, I would be lucky to ge 2 full scoops out of the ash.
