Hello- I have been searching the topic all morning on the forums without success. I am trying to remove my auger motor and have removed the allan keyed not from the collar. However the motor just spins around and wont release from the auger shaft. I must be missing something????????

Thanks

drat- during my browsing I somehow put this in the wrong section. Sorry

Once you loosen the allen screw the motor should just slide off, make sure it's lose enough, or maybe just " stuck" on the shaft, possibly a few light taps with a plastic hammer might help

When the set screw is tightened down it will make burs on the shaft.
some times it just need some Attitude adjustment with a pry bar to get out.
