Last night my CS 550 corn stove quit going. So I cleaned it all up this morning and tried it and found that the auger wouldn't move. Emptied the hopper and pulled the auger out and the motor itself won't rotate just sits there and makes a buzzing sound. I'm thinking that the motor is junk and needs to be replaced but thought I would see on here if anyone had other thoughts.

Sounds like it is time for a replacement ... just make sure you get the appropriate replacement part (direction of turn and rpm). Good luck and keep us posted.
