What you are looking at is only the inverter...You will still have to buy a deep cycle battry for it. My dealer recommend getting a APC Office Backup..they offer surge protection as well as battery backup. I used this model BR1500. It's about $200 New. It runs my stove for 20-30mins which is plenty of time for me to hook up my generator or for the power to come back on. You can also add on more batteries for longer runtime for about $100. Adds way more protection then a simple inverter/charger.
