bad igniter

a friend of mine bought a us stove 5500 last nov. and the igniter went bad by march, this year we called the company in november and the sent a new one no questions asked.i replaced it and now its bad again, when this goes the igniter actually starts to bend from the heat and it goes crooked so it doesnt line up will hole in burn pot. anyone seen this problem? gonna call company to see what they say.
