Question:

I am looking for information and price about a battery back up in case of power outage- in order to stop smoke back up into the house.this would allow me to maintain heat for my house until power is restored.

Answer:

I assume you want this for a pellet stove- which requires electricity to run.
Some of the Pellet stove companies sell such a product- but I have personally used a computer type UPS for this purpose and it works fine. Just be certain you get a unit with a rating that exceed your stoves draw. The larger of a unit that you spring for- the longer you will be able to run the unit when the power goes down.

One unit for this purpose is shown linked below
