Did you disconnect the vacuum tubing going to the pressure/vacuum switch and see if that was split or blocked?

Did you clean out the barb in the exhaust system where one end of that hose gets connected.

Did you pull and clean the combustion blower and the cavity it is in?

Did you clean from the combustion blower cavity back into the heat exchanger?

Did you remove any baffles to locate, open up, and then clean any ash traps, check for any secondary ash traps inside of the first level and open and clean them (if there are any)?

Did you try running the combustion blower on a patch cord outside of the stove?

Straight out of the owners manual.... the "H" code is the error code to indicate the l-250 automatic high temperature switch has tripped. It is located on the auger housing and sends a signal if the auger housing overheats. The book also says that the switch is normally closed (a short circuit) and opens when the temperature gets too hot, and causes a fault error code. One could reason that if you took the leads to this sensor and crossed them to cause a "closed circuit" then the fault code should go away after resetting the stove...HOWEVER...,if you are not familiar with this type of procedure,it would be wise to call the sbi technical service line or just go to the web site and pose your question there.I have and they answer very quickly. Chances are that the sensor is faulty.

If it is a high limit fault code then the following are possible additional causes.

Convection air path blocked.

Failing convection fan.

Failing control board.

Dirty convection blower.

Lack of lubricant in the convection blower's motor bearings.

ETA: Do not run the unit with the hi temperature switch bypassed except to locate a problem.
