Folks,
I just got my BK princess insert installed about a month back and today when I was cleaning it, I took out the CAT thermometer and to my surprise turns on that the paint on the dial had completely peeled off.

So now basically there is no sure way for me to tell if the CAT is active or inactive. Have others experienced something similar or did I just get a bad thermometer?

Thanks for the help!

You just got a bad thermometer. We had one do this recently. Call your dealer, they will get you one under warranty.
