    East Central Kansas
    New 1800 square foot single story ranch. Completely open floor plan with 9' ceilings. Very well insulated and sealed. Stove would sit almost dead center in the house.

    Should I go with the Princess or the King?

    Why not both?

    Seriously, though, the princess should work for you in most cases based on your location and home.

    I think you could go either or. If you go with the big boy you could probably burn it low and slow all season long but it might get boring filling the stove every other day. The Princess would also have no problem imo and be a bit cheaper along with the pipe and chimney system.
