Q&A BTU and Watts - What's the relationship?

    Does anyone know the relationship between BTU's and Watts.

    I want to buy a heater for my garage but the heater's I've seen only list the watts.



    Answer:

    About 3.4 BTU's in a watt/hour. So 1500 watts is about 5100 BTU
