Question:

I have enjoyed your site and will recommend it. Yet, I note that you have no listings for kerosene in your tables. What are the BTU values for kerosene and the efficiency of kerosene heaters?

Answer:

Thanks for the suggestion. Kerosene is very close to heating oil (really the same thing). That's about 140K BTU per Gallon. Use a figure of 90% in the efficiency and you'll be about right.
