Is there anything I need to worry about as far a scraping the burn pot very hard???? Is there anything to break?

I have the same stove and have heated last season with it and I have just scraped every couple of days with the supplies scraper and I also use a stiff 1-1/2" putty knife that I had sharpened. I have not had any problems. I do a good a good cleaning on the weekends and that it.

You should be ok...hard to hurt the burn pot in that thing....just dont smash into the end of the auger too hard and you should be ok.
