Has anyone converted an enameled cast iron stove to a flat black stove? Will sandblasting do it or is something harsher needed?

It would take a lot of work to do this for a fully enameled stove. I suspect it would take bead blasting or something fairly aggressive. Is it worth it? Maybe not. What stove is this?

I should think "roughing up" the existing enamel, and then painting over it with stove paint would work... if it doesn't, you aren't out much, and then know where to go next..
