Finally settled on a 54" cant hook from Peavey and got to put it to use for the first time yesterday. What an amazing tool.

I felled three 40-foot trees and was able to roll them over with this bad boy while bucking. I now have about a cord on the ground bucked up in 5-foot lengths. Just need to pull them out of the woods. But the cant hook makes bucking so much easier.

The bad news: A fourth tree I "felled" got hung up on a nearby pine tree. Still sitting on the stump. Hopefully Mother Nature will help get it down in the next few weeks.

You will soon wonder how you ever got along without that cant hook.
