We are mindful to check outside air source for bee's or other obstruction before we do our first burn of the season.
However, do you remember to check the air intake after a snow storm? During this most recent blizzard, I noticed my burn pot filling with pellets. I cleaned it out, and had the draft wide open. The problem continued. I went outside and waded through the snow drifts and found that my air intake was buried in a drift. This was a first in the 4 years of burning pellets. I cleared the vent, and while there did the leaf blower thing. Now enjoying a nice brisk burn and good heat.
