Wanted to share a solution for keeping my granddaughter safe around the stove. After looking in vain for a ready-made safety fence we decided to custom-make one. This is 1/2 inch copper pipe and metal fencing. It works very well, and gives us peace of mind!
 
I like the copper idea.
 
I need one of those on drinking nights. You have no idea how many forearm burns I've given myself due to the evils of whiskey.
