First year burning i have put 1 cord of pine and 1/3 cord of ash through my Kuma. With the weather and work schedule I am often cold starting. Going to have the sweep out next week but curious what you all think. The larger pice is a fluffy bit of ash I sometimes get them on the ground outside completely soft not hard and shiny like creosote.

Looks ok.

Looks ok.
That was my novice opinion as well. Not great not terrible just ok. It's been a hard year to burn really hot for a long time with lots of cold starts so a less than spotless chimney is the result.
