We have 7" DVL pipe coming off stove to support box and then class A pipe. I am wondering what kind of temp reading I should see on the outside of the DVL pipe inside the house? I don't have a internal prope in it but have a laser thermometer I am shooting it with. Thanks!

Outside temps on that pipe aren't going to tell you much. If you want to know what's happening in the chimney, you are going to need to install a probe.
