Frustrated with unavailable certified Gas Fitters in Brandon, Manitoba. Does anyone have an idea what is the process of achieving the Class C level of Gas Fitting to install appliances below 125 000 BTU? Is there a course available? What are some options?

In most cases the technical college will have courses to gain your cert. For a "C" ticket it usually takes 3 months of part time classes. Just taking the course does not teach you everything you need to learn by any stretch. Most quality service techs worked under another tech to learn the trade. A C course teaches you how to read the gas code pretty much. Good luck
