Cleaning glass

What are your best ways to clean the glass in your stove?

Wet newspaper and ash from the stove. I have a bottle of "stove window cleaner" that was given to me, but I won't be replacing it. I use it once a year when I'm feeling lazy.

Experiencing a bit of deja vu on this question . . . maybe it's just me, but has this question been asked every day for the past week or so?

-- Ash and moistened newspaper or paper towel
-- Glass cleaner
-- Specific stove glass cleaner
-- Some folks take a razor to the glass
-- Some folks use a very fine steel wool or plastic scrubby

Did I miss any?

lol, yes it has. Get a hot fire in there...that will clean it too.

Yup . . . I didn't notice it at first when I first joined either. It's right at the top of the page. Works pretty well for finding out if past questions have been answered.
