I'm installing a new Kozy Z42 fireplace and want to insulate the cold air supply duct.
Any recommendations as to the type of insulation to use? Would aluminum coated bubble wrap
be OK?
Thanks

Bubble wrap could possibly get hot enough to catch on fire. I'd look into kaowool or rock wool (sometimes called mineral wool).

Fiberglass covered with foil should work well at the temps its likely to see.
