Ive have been home during this cold snap so Im able to push the progress. 5 to 6 hour loads. when 0 degrees out. It seems happy doing so. I would like to have more control like the blaze king camp seems to be getting. But for this high heat demand the progress is doing well.

I guess we'll just have to do what we have to do till this artic snap passes and I'm sure it will. Then we can resume our normal burn habits till the next one arrives. I've been home like you lately, as I'm laid off from work. I normally wake up around 4 or 5 in the morning to feed the fire. It's a good time to eat a bowl of cereal while getting back up to temp. Then rehit the bed.

I was able to score a good red oak scrounge today. Should be some good artilery for a future artic blast of 016 maybe.;)
