In The Woods
It was real warm here today (60) so we didn't have a fire, temp dropped 30 degrees so I decided to start a fire, attached are some pictures.

Started with small basswood (kindling) with two small firestarters then I add the small wedges of cherry and the last was two small rounds of beech plus a small split of sugar maple.


The stack temp is pictured (400) it then leveled out at 500 then the last picture is the stove top temp.

As usual your pics look great Zap! You have a real nice view of the fire on that stove.. My BIL has the same stove and he loves it.. His new house he is building in NH has 2 of them but 2 different models I believe..

Ray we like the stove, my FIL had a smaller Lopi at camp so we never looked at another stove because we liked the camp stove.
