Well, we are finally getting our first cold temps of the season. Going to be 14 degrees this evening and a high tomorrow hovering just above freezing. It is amazing how well the PH heats. Yesterday morning early I put a few small splits in the stove and brought the stove back up to around 400 degrees. It was still at 300 degrees in the early afternoon. It holds heat like no other stove I've ever used. My wife loves it because the house is no longer between 62 to 68 degrees. She enjoys it around 75! Welcome cold weather....we are ready for you now

It is great to read those success stories. Enjoy the heat! :)

Yeah, cold front moved through yesterday and we were at 10 degrees this morning. Two loads per day in the Keystone keeping my 1200 sq ft in the mid 70's.

For sure many of us got hit with this cold snap but it is forecast to warm back up soon. It did seem odd last night putting more than 3 splits in the stove but it was nice and warm all night and still warm when we got up. Most of the snow melted as there are only a few small spots with a dusting left.

First Fire of the new season for me...I let the house get a little to cold so the fire feels wonderful. You gotta love the heat wood gives off ...nothing better!!!!
