    I'm really looking at a soapstone stove to help me through y2k. What are the differences/comparisons/good points/bad points between the hearthstone and a woodstock soapstone stove?



    Answer:

    Basically the same construction...and both highly efficient and nice looking. HearthStone sells through dealers and I think Woodstock is only direct-mail and has a factory showroom. The stoves have very different looks, so that should help in your decision.
