I recently installed a Country hearth 2200i insert and have had several small fires. My question is where is a good place for a magnetic thermometer. There is very little of the stove that is flat enough for the thermometer to fit. The insert is connected to a 2 ply stainless steel liner. Also what is a good operating temp this insert?

Thanks
Matt
