Hello

Has anyone replaced one of these bad boys? How many RPMs is it?

Linix Part # YN70-15-8-01
The YN means reversible and the 70 stands for 70 Millimeter
1250 is the speed but not sure if that is RPM?
http://www.eastsources.com/motor/70mm.htm

Why do they have 3 wires one for CCW and one for CW rotation?

Can a standard gearbox auger motor be retrofitted?

Don look at the information on the motor plate. White and black = CCW Red and black = CW on 60~ it is a 750RPM motor

Thanks Smokey
Well, I guess a standard 1 RPM gearbox motor would not work without changing the control panel and auger and rewiring the stove! LOL

Hello

I have to get the part from the factory. They ship UPS and it takes 4 Biz days!

Dealing with this right now on a red Hudson River Saratoga. The red saratoga stove used this motor too, then went to a standard motor the next year when the black model came out. The motor was mounted to a gear box #70JB360G10
I cannot get the motor to run so figuring out the ratio on the gear box is sorta a guess. Motor has 360 written on it and gear box says 360 in the middle or serial. Manaufacturer page is: http://www.linixmotor.com/6-2-Speed-Reducer.html
so Im guessing if the motor is 750 rpm into a 1:360 gearbox...thats about 2 rpm. Gonna mount a 2 RPM Gleason Avery and see if I can get it to work with some creative rewiring.

Will a standard gearbox motor fit and bolt in? Most of those motors are either 650 or 750 RPM down to 2 RPM.
