I completed the installation of my Cumberland MF 3800 yesterday. It runs and heats really nicely. I have decided to install a remote T-stat to the unit. The terminals on the stove for the T-stat are not labeled R and W. Does it matter which wire goes on which terminal or is it simply an open and closed circuit situation. I know I could call the manufacturer for the answer, which I will try tomorrow or Monday but I thought I might be able to get an answer here. Thanks in advance.

Should not matter it's a simple open or closed loop.
