Feeling the Heat
Nice! I processed one this weekend myself. Was thinking I might try to burn it this coming winter. I heard it seasons pretty fast.

Mine was CSS in July of last year and I burned mine starting in January. Some coaling, yes, but it heated my house...
I generally have considered Norway as one step down from ash for drying speed. It usually splits easy. It really isnt an issue up where I live now but when I lived in more developed areas it was an urban weed that would populate vacant lots. Its density was lower than other maples but still good but not great wood.
