The other day I pinched the bar on my chainsaw and the chain flung off. Now it looks like the drive links got a little chewed up. Did i junk it or can i do a little touch up to it.
    Thanks

Check each link carefully, wearing gloves when handling.Remove any burrs with small flat file.It should fit in bar groove quite nicely after that.Pull it around a few times manually to see & hear if any 'hangups' are occuring. If its OK,tighten the chain, give each tooth a couple strokes w/ the file & get back to work. ;)

I think I'd try to file the burrs off. If it still gives issues I would junk the chain as I wouldn't want it flying off at speed. Nothing good can come of a chain moving through the air fast.

If it got hot enough to fly off and then remained in that wadded up position you'll likely never straighten it up.

Didn't have an issue with it wadding up, just dinged up a few drive links

I have tried to file them off before. Then it flip off again. I feel more warm and fuzy when I say that I would never try it again! ;) (Chains are cheap)

Pete, the damage in that first pic will not file out completely, looks like the edge that contacts the sprocket would still not be completely smooth. As Jay said, I'd heave it. Also I'm not a fan of those "folded" raker teeth on there. There's much better chain on the market.
