Probably a difference in temperature ratings there are many different types of firebrick. Are the bricks in your stove lightweight pumice brick?
 
checked oline on roby site,all it says is refractory brick.aren't they all lol.4 bucks a brick i'll have to be more careful when loading ;lol ::-)
Refractory brick means they aren't pumice brick. And the standard split firebrick should be fine
