Got my stove moved and I meet the minimal clearance for a side wall install. I picked up a temp reader and notice the Temps are a bit high? On the nearest combustible (Cedar siding ) I'm reading about 115 and the stove elbow is around 270. Is this fine?

You would have to check the specific manual for that stove but in general, the combustible wall directly above a direct vent fireplace can be as much as 100° F warmer than ambient room temperature.

Ah gotcha thanks for the reply. Always good to double check on a diy install.
