I am in the process of buying a new wood stove right now i have a 25 year old earth stove which still works great and heats my 1800 sq ft log house but I think its about time for an update.I am currently looking at the dutchwest 2479 and the blaze king princess 1006 parlor.I love the looks of the dutchwest 2479 but have read many negative reviews on the stove. My question is the everburn system.lets suppose that you do not get the so called secondary burn will it still produce enough heat to satisfy my needs for heating the house.I know they have made some improvements on the stove like encasing the side loading door with a plate to cover up the refractory so it wont crack in case you shut the door on a piece of wood that is a little to long for the stove. The dutchwest is cheaper than the blaze king and so far I have not read any negative comments on the blaze king only praise. You guys have any thoughts.I plan on making a purchase in the next couple of weeks.Thanks.
