Question:

What is the easiest way to reline an unsafe chimney? I've seen stainless and poured masonry liners.

Answer:

I like the stainless steel..unless, of course, the masonry is really bad structurally and needs the reinforcing of the Solid Flu. My opinion is not based on an experience, just on the relative simplicity, lower cost and effectiveness of the stainless steel job.

The masonry poured liners are also an excellent way of restoring a chimney...but usually more costly than the stainless.
