EcoTec Tyr heating system - uses pellets and/ or stick wood. Soap stone top and shelf. I saw one working in a bar in Maine, absolutely silent. Good flame. It has a rotating burn pot which was kind of cool. Runs on a thermostat with an on off switch and high fan button. Simple.

I like the looks of it. Wonder how it can burn both pellets and stick wood.

How does it auto load the splits???jk I know the operator has to load them manually. Making a auto split loader might make me go back to cord wood though!

I have read prior posts about how much excess combustion air a pellet stove uses so I'd guess that adding a stick of wood might work ok. I saw a picture at the Stovenet.com gallery where someone burns sawdust in a pellet stove.
