In The Woods
This is a small piece of Ekki Wood that was given to me, high btu's.

Edit: Ekki is classified as "exceptionally heavy" with a weight that averages 65 pounds per cubic foot. It is considered by many to be one of the most durable of all the African woods.

65 lbs/cuft I believe is similar to the density of those compressed-sawdust brick products (ala biobricks, etc). Wouldn't mind having a cord of that stuff!

kinda neat, what are you gonna do with it?

The wood was popular for decking, I think it may have a high mineral content which means hard on chains.

I'm not sure, but I won't burn it. ;-)
