Hi everyone....newbie to this forum. I'm located in SE New York State, and have an Elmira Stoveworks woodstove that was in my house when I bought it, and am converting to a Pellet stove. I think it's a model 1200, but am not sure at all....no identification on it at all.

Just wondered if anyone had any info on when they were last produced, what the original price was, etc. My house was built in 1986, so it might be that old, but again, I'm not sure.

Any info would be appreciated...could supply a pic if anyone thinks that would help.

Elmira is still in business. The manuals for their stoves are located here and they might be able to tell you when your stove was made if it has a serial number on it. They have a toll free number on the web site.

Thanks....I did see their website earlier, but didn't notice the phone # if you have an earlier stove. BTW, here's a couple of pics of it.
