Hello Everyone,

I am re-installing the above mentioned stove, but I have a problem. The stove used to sit on a 7 inch high hearth, I now want to sit the stove on tiles that are flush with my floor. In a nutshell this means that I have lost 7 inches, and the entire chimney is set up to receive at the old level of my stove.
The stove is a rear exit, is there any way that the connection to the chimney could be angled up to meet properly?

Also does anyone know if the flue exit can be reversed to become a top exit, or is it a seperate part?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Matt

Your flue collar is reversible so you shouldn't have any trouble reconfiguring the pipe with the stove 7" lower, you can also just extend the flue by adding 7" of pipe above the T and not reverse the collar, but if you can post some pictures of your setup it will be easier to advise you on the best solution.

I move into a house where there was a blockoff plate installed previously but higher than the back end of my stove.

My installer found this not quite 45 degree piping with multiple small facets that you can rotate to just about any degree up to 45 you want. I'm not sure what it is called though.
