Getting the E 1 code occassionaly during this cold weather. I think the combustion motor could use a good cleaning. Fellow boardites have recommended the bulk material from brunners. Should i get the1/4 or 1/8 " thickness? Any other suggestions? Thanks to everyone and stay warm New England!

I just bought gasket material from them and there are a outstanding company. Order was processed right away, and I had my gaskets in 2 days. I would reccomend them to anyone wanting to buy gasket material!

Why not just call englander and get an OEM kit?

Probably because he`s like some of us others who are always trying to get the biggest bang for the buck.

Just like Master Chief PO said bang for the buck. Why spend 14 when you can spend 8? Sometimes there are reasons to spend more like supporting the company/US products, getting better service, quality support but I don't think that applies in this case.

Englander only has one shipping option and it is around $12. So if you do order gaskets and such from them get everything you need at the same time.

Best deal for Englander owner owners is the Early Bird Special they run in spring/summer/fall. Complete set of gaskets for your stove at a discount, plus the one flat shipping rate.

I even had leftover flat gasket material I used to make a real nice burnpot gasket to increase efficiency.....and still have more left after that!
