Eye, Eye Captain. More Shoulder Season Straight Ahead!!!

Looked at the weather forecast in my area. 50 degree highs Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday with overnight lows around 30.

Very easy to stay warm with this mild weather.

We here in ontario have been enjoying a heat wave , i find it hard to keep a small fire going in my old smoke dragon. but it is easy on the wood pile

This mild weather will probably leave many further ahead on 2012-2013 wood than they thought. Should also save some people money on heating. I'll take both!

We just decided not to even load the stove in the AM when it's 40 or higher, and I'm not reloading at night either. I don't know how, but we seem to get really good solar gain during the days. Odd year for sure, but it's ok. Good first year with the stove since we didn't have a wood stockpile to start with.

Been a pretty ugly winter here so far. Cold and snowy. Got something around 3ft of snow in the last ~3 weeks. Lows down to -20*, highs 10* at best.

Yikes. I couldn't handle that.
