Pellet Stove didnt skip a beat. Ran on powermate 3500 generator for 24 hours ..
Great to see that your back up system worked flawlessly and kept you warm
Welcome back. Last couple a storms we were out for no less than 5 days.
I lost power for 6 hours. Didn't have a generator for my stove so it got cold. When the power came back on I turned on my .... (gasp) ... oil burner and Harman to get the house back up to temperature. First time I've used oil for heating in more than a year.
I didnt sleep well. Id wake up listen for the generator and the pellet stove. Fall asleep wake up do it again lol.
Let me guess....when the run on generators in your area subsides, you'll be making a purchase?
Imacman: Nah. This was the first time in the 7 years I've been here we've lost power. I'm right next to Boston/Cambridge. It seems like the power companies get the urban areas back first. I'll chance it and save my money for more fun things. (I just bought a new router table and router!)
Good to hear!!
NICE!! Scallop those edges!
