Hi all,

With all the useful information available on this site i was able to build my first hearth pad. I have ordered and will be picking up my first stove, a quad mt vernon ae. Thought i would post a pic of the results. It was made with plywood, slate, and cement board.

Good Job, very nice looking! What size is it?

With 1" Pine trim it measures roughly 43 3/4" x 37 1/2 ".

That is a good size you should have no problem with the codes.

I do 37"x37" which is just about min.

I am up by the St. Lawrence, Northern New York, and thanks for the dimension info, I do not have the stove yet and made the size based off the ae manual online.
