Hi all,

With all the useful information available on this site i was able to build my first hearth pad. I have ordered and will be picking up my first stove, a quad mt vernon ae. Thought i would post a pic of the results. It was made with plywood, slate, and cement board.

Very, very nice! I love the color of that tile, and the perfect pattern you laid it in. BTW, welcome to the forums!
 
very nice, you will enjoy the warmth of the AE. I have mine 4years and it has been great.
 
Looks great! It will look even better with a stove sitting on it with fire inside.....we need pics of that!

I am up by the St. Lawrence, Northern New York, and thanks for the dimension info, I do not have the stove yet and made the size based off the ae manual online.
