Question:

Can anyone recommend a good online or telephone order source for fire starters. I am mostly interested in the environmentally friendly kind, like Seymour Fire Blox (I think they are basically bits of cardboard mixed with melted wax).

Answer:

The melted wax is made from oil, so I'm not certain they are so earth-friendly.

Fatwood is a popular fire starter made from the stumps of certain pine species. They have a number of different size packages at:http://fatwood.com/
