I want to put a wood burning insert into my fireplace. My wife of course would like one that she finds attractive. We have narrowed it down to the Jotul or the Hampton. Does anyone have opinions on either or would recommend another?

Both well known top brands......But, you still have to compare things such as price and actual firebox size. Read the article on choosing a wood stove in my sig, and think about exactly how you are going to use the unit.
1. Read all of the top notch information available here on the Forum.
2. Visit several dealers and look at the inserts.
3. Decide which one you think makes the most sense.
4. Get real world information from owners of that model from people here on the Forum.
