Fireplaces.com radio commercial

It is just my area on Cape Cod or are they all over?

I keep hearing a radio ad for Fireplaces.com. Something about a "Get off the Fence" promotion.

It mentions Harmon and Quad pellet stoves.
It has all of the usual buzz words like renewable fuel, not foreign oil, green, and of course the tax credit.

Not a bad advert it just seems a bit out of place on the radio.

Guess I'm just not used to hearing a hearth product being advertised.

Although...now that I think about it.....woodpellets.com had radio ads last year.

Hope it works out for them.

I guess they (HHT) are looking to make good on the tax credits which expire soon - also, it is possible that these commercials are funded by dealers through factory "co-op" advertising. This is an account each dealer builds up based on their sales.

The industry typically has not promoted itself enough. It would be good to see that change. Many makes do not do any advertising at all, instead relying on their dealers.
