So i went out and cut some wood today. Not sure if its elm or mulberry. I primarilly cut hedge (osage orange). Came i to some ash so have been cutting some of that and came across what i believe to be mulberry. It split easy and is yellow kind of like hedge only maybe not quit as deep yellow but still very yellow color. I havent cut any mulberry in the past as i normally just go for hedge. Any one id this for me? The lighting in the pics makes it hard to see the color like it is. But its definatelt quite yellow

Looks like mulberry. Not enough bark in pics to rule out black locust, but most likely mulberry.

Grain looks a little more "stringy" to be locust, I'm say mulberry. Either way great firewood.
