Well I got my new chimney put up and ran 4" flex pipe outside for the chimney and also ran my 6" outside air to the fireplace.I couldnt wait any longer,I had to build a small fire.I put a half of a brick of cedar fire starter in I had got from this forum as a free sample,Then put some small pieces of 2x4 cut offs from my addition and when that started burning I put two small dry splits on that.Seemed to burn real good.Wasnt a big fire cause I wanted to test it out.Barely got hot enough to kick the blower on at the end. Only thing I noticed is the acc timer is not working right. It kept quit ticking and I would have to bump it to get it to start ticking so it would close the extra combustion air.Guess I will either have to quit using the acc or get a new timer.

Looks good! Jealous of your wall insulation.
