Question:

I am interested in installing gas logs at my residence. There is no gas connection at the house at this time, so I will have to use an LP gas cylinder for a while. Do you know how much gas logs burn per hour?

Answer:

Chris, you'll have to buy logs set up for LP (propane)
Depending on the brand and model, you will use from 1/4 to 1 gallon per hour....costing from a low of 50 cents per hour to a high of $2.00 per hour.

Natural gas will be 1/2 the price when that is available.
