Question:

can a gas log set be converted or retrofitted to use propane by changing nozzles etc. any info would be a great help.

Answer:

Certain VENTED sets can be switched if such an action is detailed in their manual. This could require 2 orifice changes, as well as possible change of the "ember" bed. It can NEVER be done with unvented or vent-free sets or if the set manufacturer does not document the process.
